Inspired by everyday life and the vast intricacies of being human, Vikki Gilmore crafts meaningful narratives that ring tenderly relatable. Through her music, she seeks to create a connection between listeners and their personal journeys, allowing them to draw strength in self-expression.

Her 2023 debut album Mental Backroads follows an introspective journey of self-discovery along a metaphorical road trip through transformative life events and ever-evolving relationships with others and oneself.

The album mirrors Vikki’s own musical career to date, with a winding path and expansive songwriting discovery in her rearview mirror. This road took her everywhere, from performances at Pop Montreal and Toronto’s historic Horseshoe Tavern for NXNE; to Los Angeles to be featured on an EDM track with Rain Man under Steve Aoki’s label. These experiences helped her hone her craft and return to her roots, focusing on soulful songwriting and a folk-inspired sound. 

Vikki’s discography has accumulated over 6 million streams on Spotify. Her 2018 Someone – EP has accumulated over 200,000 streams and over 3 million views in acclaimed YouTube playlists. Her August 2020 single Doubt of My Mind landed on the iTunes Top 100 Singer-Songwriter charts in Australia, France, and the UK.

Since 2018, Vikki has opened for notable acts such as Ziggy Alberts, Damian McGinty, Still Corners, Reina del Cid, and Port Cities. On top of her personal projects, she has been honing her songwriting craft as a featured artist on songs with EDM producers such as Rain Man + T-Mass, Summer Was Fun, Sonny Alven, and Jey Vazz.
